Returns:
1. General Returns

We are happy to accept your return and will refund you for the amount of the items purchased including shipping costs if you:
  • Are returning items that were defective, mistakenly shipped or due to some error on our part.
We are happy to accept your return and will refund you for the amount of the items purchased minus shipping costs and a 15% re-stocking fee*  if you:
  • Are returning items that you as a customer ordered by mistake, or simply returning because you don't want the item(s).

    * As per our FAQ page we charge a re-stocking fee in order to cover our credit card processing and banking fees.


2. Damaged or Defective Items

If you have received damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped merchandise, please notify us.  Depending on the situation, you will receive further instructions.

Return the items in a suitable package (Re-use Sweet Music packaging if at all possible) It may also be possible to reseal the envelope or package carefully and write "Return To Sender" without incurring shipping costs.

We DO NOT accept  UPS (United Parcel Service) shipments of any kind.  All returns must be made through the postal service.


Please, Read and follow this section carefully.

It may be necessary to affix a customs declaration sticker to the package (Green sticker).  If this is the case, value must be declared as $5.00 and a note of either "Defective Merchandise" or "Return Merchandise" must be written down on the declaration slip.  If the value is set higher, it matters not that it is defective merchandise or returned merchandise, Sweet Music will be accessed an importation fee of $5.00 plus taxes that we can't recover. (we can't argue with Canada customs) If Sweet Music is charged these fees, we will deduct the amount from your credit.

By returning a package, you are agreeing to the above conditions and terms.
